“ This is the best bar in all of Marquette, I go here all the time. My favorite bartender is Cierra she always has a bright smile and brightens my day when I need a drink. Sometimes it gets extremely busy but the bartenders know how to handle it. The occasional negative reviews are Karen's don't listen to them!! ”

“ If you’re looking for that quintessential “dive bar” feel, look no further than the Nickel! It’s a bar with all the essentials, and nothing else. It’s rumored to be the oldest continuously operated bar in Marquette, and it shows that through its rustic nature. There are only a few tables, and the majority of the space is for standing room. About 25% of the floor space is reserved for the pool table, and there’s also outdoor seating if you’re lucky enough to visit in the summer. The drinks are cheap and the fun is grand at the Nickel, so stop by for a pint of you’re looking for the Last of the Originals! ”
